About

A small team that has built financial and technology products from the inside.

TTM Advisory is a digital product and software consultancy. We work with financial services companies, technology businesses, and founders building in regulated markets, usually on the problems that are hard to hand to a generalist agency.

01What we are

Not a consultancy in the traditional sense.

TTM Advisory was founded by people who had spent years building products inside financial services and technology companies, and who kept encountering the same gap: organisations with real problems that could not be solved by either a strategy firm that would not touch the code or an agency that would not touch the strategy.

We bridge that gap. Every engagement involves both thinking and making. We do not produce reports that others implement, and we do not implement without understanding the business context. The two are inseparable in our model.

We are a deliberately small firm. We are not structured to scale headcount or manage a large roster of clients. The point is to do a small number of engagements extremely well, and to be the kind of partner that a founder or product leader actually wants to call when something is hard.

01

Operators, not advisors.

We have built products inside companies, run engineering teams, and owned P&Ls. When we sit across from a founding team, we are not consultants with frameworks. We are practitioners with scars. That shapes how we think about risk, timelines, and what good looks like.

02

Fewer clients, deeper work.

We work with four to six clients at a time. Not because we cannot take more, but because we should not. The kind of work we do requires genuine immersion: understanding the internal politics, the technical debt, the sales pipeline. That takes proximity, and proximity takes time.

03

Commercial intelligence first.

Product decisions are business decisions. We are as interested in unit economics, competitive positioning, and regulatory exposure as we are in design systems and API architecture. The best product work we have done has been at the intersection of those things.

04

Handover is the deliverable.

Every engagement ends with the client owning the work completely: documented, instrumented, and understood by the team that will maintain it. We measure success not by what ships but by what runs two years after we leave.

03Working with us

Who we work with and how engagements start.

Our clients are typically either growth-stage financial technology companies with a defined product problem, or larger institutions with a discrete initiative that benefits from external product and engineering capacity.

We do not pitch for work. Engagements begin with a conversation, usually initiated by a founder, CPO, or CTO who has a specific problem and wants to understand whether the shape of our firm fits. We take on four to six engagements per year.

If the fit is right, we start with a short discovery phase before committing to a full engagement. This protects both sides: we learn whether the problem is the problem, and you learn whether working with us feels right.

Typically a good fit if
  • You have a real product or engineering problem, not a strategy question with no execution attached
  • You are building in financial services, digital assets, or adjacent regulated industries
  • You need senior people who can do the work, not manage others doing it
  • You are comfortable with direct, written communication and weekly delivery
